Minister of Environment joins round table to discuss ‘partners of nature’ programme this Saturday (13 August)

The Secretary of Extractivism and Sustainable Rural Development of the Ministry of the Environment (SDR/MMA), Juliana Ferreira Simões, will join a round table at the Rio Media Center this Saturday (13 August). The topic of discussions will be the 'Partners of Nature Programme: Traditional peoples and biodiversity conservation'. The round table will be attended by representatives from the Chico Mendes Institute for Biodiversity Conservation (ICMBio), the Forest and Agricultural Management and Certification Institute (Imaflora), GIZ, Coca Cola and Tramontina, as well as representatives from communities benefitted by Brazil's 'Sustainable Use' category protected areas.
