Federal Government launches journalist guide for the Rio 2016 Olympic and Paralympic Games

With a view to helping the journalistic coverage of the Rio 2016 Olympic and Paralympic Games, the Federal Government has prepared a guide with general and historical data about Brazil and Rio de Janeiro, as well as the five host cities, stage of the men's and women's football matches during the Games (Belo Horizonte, Brasilia, Manaus, Salvador and São Paulo). Click on one of the links below to download the guide in Portuguese, English or Spanish.

The Guide also contains information on mobility, emergency services, airports, stadiums, sport facilities, tourism tips and useful apps for mobile phones and tablets.

There is also information about the Rio Media Centre (RMC), in Rio de Janeiro, in addition to other press support resources the host cities will provide.

Casa Brasil, a project conceived by the Federal Government to showcase the country's actions in the cultural, economic and social arenas in an integrated manner, will also be open for visitation.
